The pair have been invited to present papers at a club summit called by PSL chairman Irvin Khoza from January 18-20.
Richards, who was also part of England’s failed World Cup bid in 2010, will talk on future trends in professional football and the implications for clubs to an audience of top local football officials.
Gartside’s presentation will deal with club licensing and give examples of what his English premier league club have done to implement the necessary requirements.
Gartside is a Football Association board member and an executive director of the new Wembley Stadium. He earned notoriety three years ago when he sought to have Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic and Rangers join English teams in the premier league.
The PSL have also invited Norwich City to address the 16 PSL clubs on new media and social media opportunities, highlighting the example of a mid-sized community club that has effectively built its brands in their geographical area.
The club summit is a three day gathering of the country’s top club officials. Khoza is seeking that at the end of the meeting, the 16 clubs adopt several resolutions to take the game forward.
